On January 12, 2017, the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) of Vietnam officially announced a 3rd draft, Circular 42/2016/TT-BTTTT, which is set to replace 05/2014/TT-BTTTT on October 1, 2017.
It is worth noting:
- Type Approval certificates issued under Circular 05/2014/TT-BTTTT will remain valid until their expiry dates.
- Circular 42/2016/TT-BTTTT is set to allow Type Approval applications to be submitted for LTE technology.
