UNITED STATES: The FCC is Proposing the Adoption of ANSI C63.26 Standard for RF Devices

According to an FCC publication in the Federal Register of the United States, the Commission is seeking comments from all the interested parties regarding the possible adoption of the ANSI C63.26-2015 “American National Standard for Compliance Testing of Transmitters Used in Licenses Radio Services”, into the Commission’s Rules. The scope of this standard is to provide manufacturers and test laboratories with reliable and consistent measurement procedures necessary to demonstrate that transmitters used in licensed radio services comply with Commission’s technical requirements. The Commission is receiving all the comments and they will reply on May 16, 2016. If they decide to adopt the standard, ENTIRETY will inform about the entry into force date.
