The order was issued this year on October 16th and released on October 19th in the FCC site. The decision to temporarily waive the requirements of the 2.1203 and 2.1205 sections was approved taking into account many different situations, including the excess of information and the inefficiency that those requirements generate for the authorities, a lot of importers requests to the FCC and technical issues. The section 2.1203 states that the RF devices have to meet some entry conditions, and the section 2.1205 says that there are two ways to declare the compliance with those conditions: filing an import paper or with and electronic filing. The order will be effective between July 1st and Dec 31st 2016.
