The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has launched a special page on its website that includes all the approved telecom devices in the UAE, a public database that allows customers to check the approved devices compatible with the technical standards. The page aims to inform customers about the devices that have been approved and tested with the networks of service providers in the country. It also helps public and private entities to ensure that the supplier’s offers contain devices approved by TRA. This can be done by searching for the name or the model of the device. The page includes more than 15 thousand devices, including mobile phones, computers, and their accessories, tablets, transmitters, and other devices that are used in the field of ICT.
The link to the new public database is as follows: https://www.tra.gov.ae/en/approved-equipment.aspx and just by writing down the model name and “Search” you can get the TRA approved devices under that name.
