On July 3rd, 2017, the National Communications Commission (NCC) Republic of China (Taiwan), released a document containing 30 articles regarding new compliance approval regulations on controlled telecommunication radio-frequency (RF) devices. The article highlights a revised application form in addition a simplified Declaration of Conformity (DoC) process. NCC began this implementation on July 1st, 2017 and only the revised application will be accepted. In addition, it will now be required to have the NCC logo on the package.
Those who apply for compliance approval of CTRFD with the intent of selling will be required to complete the application form and submit documents.
Requirements:
1. User manual or instructions in Chinese or English
2. Technical specs or catalogue, which shall have technical standards such as frequency and output power, in Chinese or English.
3. Identification documents for device source
4. Applicants who are natural persons of the country will be required to submit ID of Republic of China (two forms of identifications) however those domestic corporate or non-corporate organizations or foreign manufacturers only need to submit the company registration certificate.
