INDIA: Certification Under MTCTE Will be Mandatory Starting August of 2019

India’s Telecommunication Engineering Center has notified on March 13, 2019, that the certification under MTCTE (Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecom Equipment) will be mandatory starting August 1st, 2019. However, the portal continues in trial mode, and the date for the official submission of applications will be notified independently in the coming months.
JAPAN: VCCI No longer Accepting Registrations Done with Test Reports in Accordance with VCCI 32-1 Rules

Japan’s VCCI Council has notified that from the end of March, they will no longer accept registrations done with test reports in accordance with the Rules V-2(compliant with CISPR22). Beginning April 1, 2019, VICCI will only accept applications with tests in accordance with the Rules VCCI 32-1, which are based on CISPR32.
