At the beginning of July, the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) announced on its website an auction for the 700 MHz and 1800 MHz bands. The auctioned portion in the 700 MHz band consists of 5 blocks of spectrum with nationwide coverage and technology or service neutral requirements. Application deadline is November 1st, 2016, and the auction will take place on December 1st, 2016. For the 1800 MHz band, the auction will offer 2 blocks of spectrum, this includes the technology or service neutral requirements. Application deadline is October 10th, 2016.
