The Radio Research Agency (RRA) of South Korea announces that is going to issue in the next months an amendments to the labelling methods applicable to Conformity Assessment for Broadcasting Telecommunications Equipment.
The main changes are going to be:
1. Is it going to be permitted the use of underscore ( _ ) in the Conformity Assessment Number in addition to letters, numbers and hyphen ( – ).
2. It wont be necessary to indicate the Conformity Assessment Number on the product packaging, in cases where this is already shown on the product and is clearly visible through transparent packaging.
3. The ‘Indication of Broadcasting Communication Equipment’ code of the Conformity of Assessment Number is going to change from ‘MSIP’ to ‘R.
