On September 23, 2016, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA), published on its official country diary, Green Gazette, the LTE auction for the 700MHz, 800MHz and 2600MHz bands. The authority will receive proposals until November 4, 2016, and the auction now will take place between February 27th, and March 10, 2017.
