South Africa: ICASA Publishes Draft Public Consultation for Proposed Changes in Spectrum Management

On 8th April, 2024, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has published the following drafts for public consultation:

These draft documents aim to coordinate the allocation and assignment of radio frequency spectrum in South Africa and align it with the Final Acts of the World Radio Conference 2023 and the latest Resolutions of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Radio Regulations. Spectrum allocation changes are being considered, including but not limited to those used by IMT systems for Mobile licensees.
