Entirety reports on January 15, 2019, The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) published a Conformity Assessment Framework for Equipment Authorization draft and is urging all the stakeholders to make comments before January 30th, 2019. This draft is a new and better version of the Type Approval Regulations published in 2013 and makes part of the regulator’s plan to be competitive and operate under a regulatory framework that is responsive and adaptive to the changes in ICT developments.
