Enterprise Singapore released an updated version of the Safety Requirements booklet.
Some of the major updates were:
Chapter 7, item 23: Updated additional requirements for Powerline Ethernet Adaptor incorporated with 13A socket-outlet to include clauses 13, 17; 18 of SS 145 Part 3: 2020, and that sub-clauses 13, 17; 18 of SS 246 are valid till 25/10/2021
Chapter 10: Updated procedures for transferring CoCs between business entities. Companies involved in the transfer to approach CAB that originally certified the product; the CAB will liaise with ESG regarding the transfer.
Appendix J: Updated table of non-controlled goods to include battery charger docking stations, energy monitoring devices, smart plugs, and SB wall outlets.
