The IMDA published the new technical specifications and requirements for cellular devices. This specification defines the minimum technical security requirements for the design and

management of Devices implemented on cellular networks to better safeguard communication networks from security threats in the area of connection efficiency. It also sets out to minimize the vulnerability of the individual cellular Devices, ensuring that these devices are better protected and secured in the areas of Access Control and Over-The-Air (OTA) updating.
