SINGAPORE: New Technical Specifications for Intelligent Transport Systems

The Telecommunications Standards Advisory Committee(TSAC) developed a new Technical Specifications for short range devices dedicated for applications of Intelligent Transport Systems for IMDA, Singapore’s telecommunications regulator. These specifications entered into force on October 5, 2017.

The scope of this standard covers Dedicated Short Range Communications(DSRC) in the 5GHz spectrum, and IEEE 1609 wireless access vehicular environment(WAVE) for security and network management.
