Published in the Official Gazette, these guidelines mandate stringent conformity assessments and certification for all wired and wireless communication devices in the country.
It is key to highlight the minimum requirements set for USB Type-C chargers for smartphones, tablets, and electronic devices (digital cameras, headsets, earbuds, keyboards, wireless routers, and portable speakers, among others)
SASO established a period not exceeding 180 days to apply the provisions of this regulation.
