Rwanda Utilities and Regulatory Authority (RURA) has published Regulation No. 014/R/SM-ICT/RURA/2021 for determines the terms and conditions governing the use of unlicensed and light licensing in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 60 GHz frequency bands for the deployment of mobile and fixed broadband services in Rwanda. The following bands are considered unlicensed bands; 2.4-2.483GHz, 5.15-5.35GHz, and 57-62GHz.
