RUSSIA: New Restrictions on Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Radioelectronic Products

The Eurasian Economic Union will regulate hazardous substances in electrical and radio electrical products (EAEU TR 037/2016) starting March 1, 2018. The marking information and the user manuals must be made in Russian and any other official language of the EAEU specifying the concentration of substances such as mercury, cadmium, and lead, among others. The purpose of this is to protect life, the environment and health.
