The Federal Security Service, also known as Federalnaya Sluzhba Bezopasnosti (FSB) in Russia, began utilizing their encryption notification updating its list of product/device with cryptographic (encryption) technology requiring FSB notification (found on section 2.19) and only the product which is in this section from now on will require FSB notification.

1. Printers, copiers and fax machines and their electronic modules that have cryptographic functions.
2. Pocket machines for recording, reproducing and visualizing data with computational functions that have encryption functions.
3. Handheld computers that have functions and encryption.
4. Computing machines and parts thereof that have cryptographic functions.
5. Devices of computers, which have cryptographic functions.
6. Electronic modules and parts of handheld machines that have encryption functions.
7. Subscriber communication devices that have cryptographic functions.
8. Base stations with encryption functions.
9. Telecommunication equipment and its parts, with the functions of encryption.
Classification of products will be carefully done using the list of products, tariff codes, and product applications.
