The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) recently launched a new initiative in cooperation with specialists from different universities, colleges, and research institutions in Qatar. The aim of the initiative is to cooperate to develop and publish new researches and studies related to the development of advanced technologies in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector, towards the main goal, which is sharing knowledge and enhancing the sector’s role in Qatar.
“This initiative is in line with one of Qatar National Vision 2030 aims; create a balance between an oil-based and a knowledge-based economy. CRA is ready to provide the participating entities with full support during the journey of developing researches and studies. CRA also encourages Qatari students to participate in this initiative by presenting their related studies and projects that will contribute to the development of ICT sector in Qatar for the benefit of the stakeholders and consumers,” said Eng. Abdulla Jassmi, Technical Affairs Department Manager.
