The Authority National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) published the consultation amending section 2 of Memorandum Circular No. 03-05-2007, which include the use of WiFi 6 and the technical parameters to be considered for the use in High Performance Radio LAN (HiperLAN) and RLAN:
- 5925-6425: 25mW (EIRP), for indoor and outdoor use
- 5925-6425: 250mW (EIRP) ), for indoor use only
The public hearing took place on May 23rd, 2024 in the NTC building.
After the consultation period, it’s expected to have a revised technical specification and the acceptance of filings for products using this technology.
