On October 17th, 2020: The Ministry of Transportation and Communications MTC approves a ministerial resolution that optimizes the use of the 3.5 GHz band. With this initiative, telecommunications operating companies, with the assignment of radio spectrum in the 3.5 GHz band, are enabled to carry out technical modifications to the network and to the use of the frequency band to provide some different services from those originally assigned. This band is crucial to progressively plan the deployment and massification of 5G technology.
