OMAN – Regulation Organizing the Registration and Utilization of Frequencies and Radio Equipment (Public Consultation)

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of Oman is conducting public consultations on 11 Annexes of the Regulation Organizing the Registration and Utilization of Frequencies and Radio Equipment and their pricing. The reviewed annexes align with international recommendations and the needs of Oman’s telecommunications market. Interested parties are invited to participate and provide feedback by 10th August 2023.

The strategic objectives of the regulatory framework include efficient resource management, a flexible regulatory environment to attract investment, support for innovative technologies and services, and encouragement of research and development.

Responses can be submitted via an online questionnaire or through mail to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. The consultation documents for the reviewed Annexes can be downloaded here.
