New Intellectual Property (IP) forms for Type Approval applications will be fully enforced starting January 1, 2025. These updated forms replace the current versions and include an additional declaration option for applicants unable to obtain written consent from IP owners. An IP Infringement Disclaimer has also been introduced. Applicants should carefully review these updates to ensure compliance.
Two trademark declaration categories have been outlined:
- Authorized Use: Requires a registration certificate and an IP Authorization Letter.
- Unauthorized Use: Requires an IP Undertaking form.
While the current forms remain acceptable until 31st December 2024, applicants are encouraged to use the latest forms for Type Approval application submissions.
