On May 20th, 2020, two Resolutions were published by INCM (Regulatory Authority of Mozambique’s Communication).
1) Resolution n°1/CA/INCM/2020; which updated the Product Classification Lists for Category I, II, and III. This List is referred on the main Resolution of Homologation, the Decree n°66/2018.
2) Resolution n°2/CA/INCM/2020; and this Resolution brings the important updates of the Government actions on Telecommunication and Communications sectors, because of COVID-19. It has been declared Emergency State, due to the Pandemic situation of COVID-19, therefore, while this condition endures, some public and private services must obey to the activities definitions brought by this Resolution.
For the Homologation point-of-view, it is important to inform that during this period of Emergency State, the INCM (Regulatory Authority of Mozambique’s Communication) shall allocate and exempt spectrum on a provisory basis; also it will exempt any Homologation fees of Telecom equipment for the period, and both Telecom and Postal services, that demands licensing and that this license would be due by this period, they can continue working, without suspension.
