Morocco Regulatory Updates: Labeling Changes for 2025

The Moroccan regulator, ANRT, has introduced new labeling requirements under ANRT/DG/No.16/24. These updates bring two key developments that impact compliance:

  1. Official French Translation – A translated version of the regulation has been released, improving accessibility.
  2. High-Resolution Label Image – A detailed image of the required marking is now available, providing clarity on presentation and compliance.

Key Implementation Dates

The requirement to apply the new marking came into effect on January 20, 2025. This applies to newly manufactured or recently imported products. However, manufacturers with previously approved products can continue using existing markings.

If your products fall under these requirements, ensuring compliance is essential to avoid any regulatory issues in Morocco.
