The Mexican Economy Secretariat (SE), published on the COFEMER website the PROY-NOM-208-SCFI-2016, a document with the proposed NOM (Norma Oficial Mexicana – Official Mexican Rule) for radio communications systems that use the frequency-hopping spread spectrum technique and digital modulation to operate in the 902-928 MHz, 2400-2483.5 MHz and 5725-5850 MHz bands – specifications and test methods. The document is open for comments of the interested parties, and soon it will be released as a public consultation in order to begin the process to make it official. Once this NOM becomes official, it will replace the NOM-EM-016-SCFI-2015, which will be valid until October 20, 2016, as ENTIRETY has previously informed. This NOM is also related to the Technical Disposition IFT-008-2015 that contains the the technical requirements to be met.
