MEXICO: The IFT published the Annual Program for the Use and Operation of Frequency Bands in 2016

The Mexican IFT (Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones) published on its website, the final agreement of the annual program for the use and operation of frequency bands in 2016, including the answers for the public requests about the first draft. This annual program objective is to determine the frequency bands that will be tendered or assigned in 2016 and the possible  services that could be provided in those frequencies. The principal frequency band for commercial use in this program is the 2500 – 2690 MHz band for broadband and wireless mobile access; for public use, the 415 – 420 MHz and 425 – 430 MHz bands for trunking and conventional radio; and for social use, the 824 – 849 MHz and 869 – 894 bands for mobile communications.
