On May 04, 2018, the National Institute of Telecommunications from Mexico (IFT) launched a Public consultation process to work on the draft that will update the National Table of Frequency Allocations. The purpose of this consultation is to meet with the requirements of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and new technologies, and also to promote a wider participation of those interested in the subject (academy, companies, public entities) for inclusive public policies.
This update complies with the articles 15 (section III), 56 (1st paragraph), and with the article 30 (section I), of the Organic Statute of the Federal Institute of Telecommunications. Those interested in participate, will have to fill the format published in the IFT web page, and send it physically to the authority or to consulta.cnaf@ift.org.mx.
The deadline to submit any comments will be until June 01, 2018. Once the Public Consultation finishes, the Radioelectric Spectrum Unit will be in charge of addressing all comments, and later on, to propose to the Plenary of the Federal Institute of Telecommunications the emission of the Update to the National Table of Frequency Attribution.
