The Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) will receive comments from any interested party regarding the “Proposed Draft Guidelines for Homologation of products, equipment, devices or devices intended for telecommunications or broadcasting”. The proposal wants to establish the basis for a clear and expedited procedure, within the technical regulatory framework and attributions of the Institute for Homologation procedures; also to establish the homologation procedures and the criteria to carry out the Homologation of telecommunications and broadcasting equipment in an uniform and efficient way in order to obtain the corresponding certificate. The proposed Draft was published on November 28, 2019, and the deadline is January 27, 2020 (60 calendar days) and you can see the attached pdf for your reference. The Institute will receive the comments, opinions and contributions that are made in relation to the contents of the Preliminary Project through the email address info.upr@ift.org.mx, or, by submitted letters to the Institute located in Insurgentes Sur 1143, Colonia Nochebuena, Territorial Demarcation Benito Juárez, CP 03720, Mexico City, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. hours.
