On September 13th 2016, the Mexican Economy Secretariat (SE), published on the Federation Official Diary (DOF) the PROY-NOM-208-SCFI-2016 “Radio communications systems that use the frequency-hopping spread spectrum technique and digital modulation to operate in the 902-928 MHz, 2400-2483.5 MHz and 5725-5850 MHz bands – specifications and test methods”, which will replace the NOM-EM-016-SCFI-2015. All the equipments covered by this NOM has to comply with the Technical Disposition IFT-008-2015 minimum specifications, limits and test methods parameters. Certificates issued under the NOM-121-SC1T1-2009 and NOM-EM-016-SCFI-2015 will remain valid until its expiration date. The NOM-208-SCFI-2016 will come into force on 60 days after its publication on the Official Diary (DOF). ENTIRETY will inform once the Project becomes an Official NOM.
