Certificate of Conformity for NOM-EM-016-SCFI-2015 (former NOM-121-SCT1-2009) is now mandatory at point of entry as of yesterday, August 29th. The Products that don’t have this certificate at the time of importation won’t be able to enter Mexico. As Entirety Informed, this was included in the new agreement with updated rules for foreign trade published by the Mexican Secretariat of Economy.
