The IFT published on September 7, 2015 a public consultation asking to all the interested parties to send comments on the draft of the guidelines to accredit, designate and recognize test laboratories in mexico, designed by that organism. The draft includes the possible ways that IFT could follow to accredit national laboratories to issue compliance certifications and to authorize other accreditation organisms to accredit test laboratories. In addition, the draft shows a guide for IFT to accredit foreigners laboratories to test products in the Mexican market. The public consultation will be open until October 19, 2015.
