The Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT) in Mexico has made consultation processes for drafts available to the general public in an exercise of transparency and openness.
In this regard, IFT published a preliminary draft involving the classification of the 57-64 GHz band being used as a free spectrum. The consultation process for this draft will take place on February 10th to March 9th, 2017. Drafts can be accessed on IFT’s portal, where citizens can submit comments, opinions, and proposals.
