On October 21st, the IFT published the 2021 Frequency Bands And The Spectrum Use. The issuance of this 2021 Program is strictly adjusted to the Institute's radio spectrum planning strategy, based on national and international regulations, the current context of the frequency bands in Mexico, the state of standardization, and the available technologies based on the adoption on an international level.
Some of the frequency bands contemplated for the 2021 Program are the following:
For Commercial Use:
-Frequency Band: 1427, 1518 MHz Category of the Attribution: Fixed, Moblie except for the aeronautic mobile primary allocation
Service: Wireless Access
-Frequency Band: 2483.5, 2495 MHz
Category of the Attribution: Mobile by satellite (space-earth) primary allocation
Service: Complementary Terrestrial of Mobile Satellite Service
-Frequency Band: 3400, 3450 MHz
Category of the Attribution: Fixed, Fixed by satellite (space-earth) primary allocation
Service: Fixed wireless Access
For Public Use:
-Frequency Band: 415-420/425-430 MHz
Category of the Attribution: Mobile except for aeronautic mobile primary allocation
Service: Trunked radio
-Frequency Band: 806-814/851-859 MHz (25)
Category of the Attribution: Mobile primary allocation
Service: Trunked radio
For Social Use:
-Frequency Band: 824-849/869-894 MHz
