On February 25th, IFT has published in the Official Gazette the Technical Disposition IFT-007-2019: Maximum exposure limits for human beings to non-ionizing electromagnetic radio-frequency radiation in the range of 100 kHz to 300 GHz in the proximity of radio communication stations or broadcasting sources, as well as the calculations and testing methods for conformity evaluation.
This new standard specifies limits, testing methods, conformity, and certification procedures and The Institute will be responsible to verify the implementation of the present Technical Disposition, in accordance with the legally applicable provisions.
The Compliance Unit of the Institute will be in charge of making the annual verifications and surveillance.
Also, the Institute through the General Coordination of the User Policy may make public the information relating to compliance with the maximum exposure limits for human beings in the web page or any other medium they determine.
This enters into force on the three hundred sixty-five natural days from its publication.
