IFT published part 1 of the DT-IFT-011 which went over the plan to establish the technical specifications of Mobile Terminal Equipment (MTE) that utilizes radio electric spectrum operating in the 700 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2500 MHz bands or is connected to a telecommunication network. DT-IFT011 part 1 came into effect on July 25, 2017. IFT has a part 2 draft for IFT-011 highlighting mobile terminal equipment operating in the 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz and / or 2500 MHz bands. Part 2 of DT-IFT011 is set to enforce testing for all bands and is estimated to come into effect November of 2017.
