MEXICO: IFT Publish Draft for Mobile Terminal Equipment Utilizing Radio Spectrum or Telecommunication Networks

On July 13, 2017 the IFT of Mexico published a technical provisional draft, IFT-011-2017, with a plan to establish the technical specifications of Mobile Terminal Equipment (MTE) that utilizes radio electric spectrum that operating in the 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2500 MHz bands or is connected to a telecommunications network. In addition, test methods will be concluded to verify compliance within the specifications. 



IFT decided to make this new regulation transparent in order to receive comments, opinions and input regarding the regulatory proposal. August 12, 2017 is the last day they will be accepting any feedback.
