On January 17, 2017 the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) approved an extension of the following public consultation for an additional twenty working days: “Technical Provision Proposal IFT-007-2016: Restrictions to maximum exposure to human beings of non-ionizing radio-frequency electromagnetic radiation in the range of 100 kHz to 300 GHz.” Those interested in the consultation process may participate by sending their comments and/or opinions to IFT until February 21, 2017.
