On November 11th, the IFT (Instituto Federal de telecomunicaciones) issued a communication with the final documents for the announcement and tender of 80 MHz of spectrum in the 1.7 GHz and 2.1 GHz bands (AWS spectrum). These frequencies will allow the development of 4G and LTE technologies in Mexico. The tender format will be a Combinatorial Clock Auction (CCA) which permit to maximize the number of participants.
