MEXICO: IFT Announces Proposed Draft Update of the National Frequency Allocation Table

On November 10, 2016 the Mexican Regulator IFT published on its website, a public consultation related to the “Proposed Draft Update of the National Table of Frequency Allocation” in order to obtain comments, opinions, proposals or suggestions from citizens, governmental and non-governmental organizations, specialists, professors and, in general, any person who has an interest in the subjects of IFT competence.

The main objectives of the Preliminary Project are: 



1) Establish the basis for updating the National Frequency Allocation Table



2) Express changes resulting from the modification of the Radio Regulations of the International Telecommunication Union



3) Provide a consultation tool for the radio-communication service to which particular radio spectrum frequency bands are allocated.

The Institute will receive comments, opinions and contributions regarding the contents of the Preliminary Project through an electronic form.
 The validity of this public consultation will be from November 11 to December 9, 2016.
