IFT has extended the deadline to submit the comments on the draft of the Technical Disposition IFT-011 part 3, which was published back in early October and initially with a deadline until December 2nd to receive comments from the interested parties, but now, the new deadline is until January 13th, 2022.
This draft is related to the technical specifications of mobile terminal equipment that can make use of the radio spectrum or be connected to telecommunications networks, operating in the 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz, 1700 MHz / 2100 MHz, and/or 2500 MHz bands, Part 3: In regards to the reception of alert messages for the notification of risk or emergency situations, through the cellular broadcasting service; as well as the test methods to demonstrate compliance with these specifications.
