On January 17, 2018, the Official Gazette of Mexico published an official consultation ‘Association of Standardization and Certification, AC’ mentioning it was working on new rules for security of devices that use energy sources below 1kv for DC and 1.5kv for AC; taking care of use of devices more than features or design. Three additional projects related to electrical devices were mentioned as well: equipment control and distribution in high voltage, environmental tests, and mechanisms and electromechanical devices.
