The SIRIM (Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) extends for one (1) year the Type Approval process for the IPv6 cellular devices without WiFi interface. This is effective from 10th July 2021, until further notice. The new applications and renewal of the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) are allowed with a maximum validity of one (1) year. However, it’s important to note that the test reports need to be performed by an accredited laboratory available and submit the test report for SIRIM evaluation.
