In late September 2021, CITRA of Kuwait updated its Regulations and Resolutions platform by uploading the new Type Approval Guideline and National Frequency Plan.
Currently, the official documents are only available in Arabic, however, some important changes were:
- Change in the type approval certificates validity from 1 year to 3 years.
- A rise in the type approval fees.
- The full recognition on CE Mark and compliance documents to grant CITRA approval.
- The time to request renewals is from 3 months to 20 days before expiration.
- The request of samples and testing by CITRA in case the CE compliance documents are not in rule.
