The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, Dr. Eng. Ghazi Al-Jabour, announced that the Board of Commissioners of the Commission has approved the instructions for Internet of things (IoT).
Mr. Jabour stressed that the Jordanian government aims to introduce and develop new technologies and benefit from them in improving the living aspects of citizens while at the same time taking care of the organizational, regulatory and legislative aspect that governs the work of these technologies, and accordingly, these instructions were approved taking into account the importance of maintaining the security and safety of services Communications and beneficiaries data, and clarifying all the requirements for investors to invest in this technology and facilitate entry to the market, noting that the approval of these instructions is a prelude to preparing the telecom market and information technology to enter the 5G systems for 5G communication.
