On January 20, 2020, an outline was published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a number of amendments to the regulation of radio equipment, based principally on the need for sensor systems using radio waves with higher detection accuracy, thus modifying the current regulations for 2.4GHz band Low Power Data Communication systems for this usage.
