JAPAN: MOFA Publishes Regulation Amendments for Radio Equipment

On January 20, 2020, an outline was published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a number of amendments to the regulation of radio equipment, based principally on the need for sensor systems using radio waves with higher detection accuracy, thus modifying the current regulations for 2.4GHz band Low Power Data Communication systems for this usage. To see all new modifications please download the PDF attached. The final date for comments is March 20, 2020. The proposed date of entry into force is May 2020.
