The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) in order to understand the needs for the use of 5G mobile communication systems has published a public consultation. This public consultation is focused on the frequency allocation, expected usage, and requirements. Also, opens the space for opinions on the frequencies 2.6GHz, 4.9GHz, 26GHz, and 40GHz. The comments will be received until October 1st, 2021, by mail to mobile-telecom@ml.soumu.go.jp
