The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has created the “Frequency Reorganization Action Plan (FY2022 Version) (Draft)” in order to implement the specific frequency reorganization smoothly and steadily.
Therefore, they are soliciting opinions on this proposal from Friday, September 2, 2022 to Monday, October 3, 2022.
1. Overview
Every year since FY2004, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications formulates and publishes the “Frequency Reorganization Action Plan” in order to smoothly and steadily implement concrete frequency reorganization based on the evaluation results of radio wave usage surveys.
Recently, based on the evaluation results of the 2021 radio wave usage survey (targeting frequency bands above 714 MHz), we have created the “Frequency Reorganization Action Plan (FY2022 version) (draft).” The outline of this proposal is shown in (Attachment 1PDF).

4 Future plans
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications will promptly publish the “Frequency Reorganization Action Plan (FY2022 version)” that has been formulated based on the opinions received regarding this proposal and will implement concrete measures without fail.
