ISRAEL: Easing the Regulations Regarding the Import of Wireless Products Into Israel

The Minister of Communications has signed new regulations that will exempt many products of the need to obtain Ministerial approval while encouraging imports and competition in the wireless products market. This move is part of the regulatory trend piloted by the Ministry in the communications market, designed to lower barriers to market entry in order to increase competition and produce new growth engines at a time the economy is desperately in need of such, in the wake of the COVID crisis.
