ISRAEL: Deployment of Optic Fiber and 5G Cellular Infrastructure

Back

The Ministry of Communications (MoC) launched a new campaign through the Government Advertising Bureau and is launching the high-speed Internet revolution in Israel, which is in full swing – the deployment of the optic fiber and the fifth-generation cellular infrastructure. The advanced technologies are being deployed at an accelerated pace throughout the country, enabling millions of Israelis to access the high-speed network. The Minister of Communications, Yoaz Handel stated that this will enable growth in the employment market, reducing gaps between the periphery and the center, business / technological connection between Israel and the world, and within the country in areas such as medicine, education, transportation, and more. The campaign is intended, among other things, to reduce concerns that have arisen among parts of the public in the past when it went to the fifth generation tender, and to explain the benefits and opportunities inherent in this network.
